The Franklin Township Fire Department is always looking for Volunteer Firefighters. If you're interested in becoming a firefighter feel free to stop by for training at either station Monday Nights between 7:00pm and 9:00pm, or email careers@ftfd.org. You can also print the application below and drop it off at either station or at the Franklin Township Administration Building at 418 Fairview Dr Carlisle, OH 45005 Monday through Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm.

Requirements for Firefighters:

-Must be at least 18 years old

-Must have a Valid Drivers Licence

-Must have a High School Diploma or GED

-Must live within a reasonable distance from either Fire Station

-Complete at least the 36 hour Volunteer Firefighter Course (completed during probation)

-Required to make 20% of the runs for the year

-Required to complete 30 hours of Training per year (Usually scheduled every Monday evening)
