Brush 19

Brush 19 is a 1997 Ford F-250 Arms Brush Truck. Brush 19 is used for outdoor and grass fires that come with the summer months and dry spells. Brush 19 has a 250 gallon water tank with a 250 gallon per minute pump, mounted in the bed of the pick-up. Brush 19 has the ability to pump and drive at the same time to extinguish large grass fires. This is because the pump has it's own engine, unlike fire engines which operate their pump with the drive motor by way of a special transmission gear. Brush 19 has a 2.5" hand line 1' forestry hand line 2 front bumper sprayers, a PRO-Pack foam unit, leaf blowers, and a small compliment of wild land firefighting tools. As well as a winch for special situations.
